We’re seeking a Business Development Representative to act as the liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to help create new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience setting sales appointments, qualifying leads from marketing campaigns, working tradeshow booths/table shows and accurately documenting relevant information in a CRM. Ultimately, you will boost sales, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Responsibilities:

● Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and accurately document all Contact information in the CRM

● Contact potential clients through customized cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.)

● Collaborate closely with outside Account Executives to target accounts, build pipeline and promote XiltriX

● Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Managers

● Support execution and promotion of marketing campaigns

● Stay up to date on XiltriX’s lab monitoring services as well as life science industry trends and pain points

● Build long-term trusting relationships with clients and prospects

● Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

Compensation: $60,000-$72,000 (based on qualifications) + Bonus + Commission

Experience and Skills

● 1 year or more of work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, or similar customer facing role

● Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls, social selling, multi-channel sequences)

● Track record of achieving and exceeding goals; naturally driven

● Experience with CRM software (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong)

● Experience using Microsoft or Google Office Suites

● Understanding of sales performance metrics

● Excellent communication and customer service skills

● Positive, self-motivated individual with a high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and meet aggressive team goals, as well as personal quotas

● Bachelor degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
